1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using The Green Felt Club application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
The Green Felt Club is a billiards companion app that provides scoring, real-time game tracking, player statistics, session analysis, and venue-organized competition tooling for cue sports enthusiasts.
3. User Accounts
- You may use the App anonymously or sign in with a Google account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality.
- Upload or transmit malicious code or harmful content.
- Impersonate another person or entity.
- Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others.
5. User Content
- You retain ownership of content you create (game data, player profiles).
- By using the App, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.
- You are solely responsible for the content you create.
6. Competition and Prize Disclaimer
- Venues and organizers may run competitions for their own customers using tools provided in the App.
- Any prizes, payouts, fees, or monetary terms are operated solely by the venue/organizer, not by The Green Felt Club or Perseid Echo Creations.
- The App is not intended for regulated gambling, wagering, or any officially regulated monetary competition activity.
7. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by The Green Felt Club and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App without permission.
8. Advertisements
The App displays advertisements provided by third-party ad networks (Google AdMob). By using the App, you agree to receive such advertisements.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE GREEN FELT CLUB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Green Felt Club from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted within the App or on our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
