How match nights work
Tonight's matches are first. Players score each single in the app and it lands here by itself. With no app, a captain enters the night under Your teams (or you use Enter scoresheet) and the other captain confirms it. Anything else — a sub, a forfeit, a no-show, closing or voiding the night, its history — is under Fix this night (⋯ on a phone). Tap a night to see its week, singles and rules. Every change is kept in the history.
A one-off match is not part of a season, so it does not count in the season table. Use the Schedule tab for league nights.
Bar TVsLeague on the bar's TV
Every bar that hosts the league has a league TV link: open it on any TV or laptop at the bar and it shows the standings and tonight's match. The bar needs no Green Felt Club account for that. A bar that already uses Green Felt Club on its TVs can add the league to its own rotation: Ask the bar sends its staff a request in their venue console, and they can accept or stop it at any time.
Every team in the league is entered; untick any afterwards. Nights repeat weekly on the first night's weekday, in the time zone shown (this browser's). Clear it to use the home bar's own zone when a team's home bar is a Green Felt Club bar.
How the schedule works
Make a schedule fills every open week with a round robin (byes for an odd number of teams, home and away balanced, at the home team's bar) for you to check before it is saved. Or pick who plays whom yourself; anyone not paired sits out (bye). Leave the bar empty to play at the home team's home bar. A week locks the moment its night starts; after that, Move or Postpone a match instead.
How teams, codes and captains work
Each team gets a join code and an invite link: hand either to the captain. You can also add players by name, no app needed (Add player), or paste a list (Import list, under Edit team); a player claims their spot later with the team code and their own claim code. Players who join with the code join as players: to pick a captain, use Make captain next to their name, or name one here (they get an invite and become captain when they accept it on this page). Find links the home bar to a bar on Green Felt Club, so the league can show on that bar's TV; a typed name works too.
How handicaps move
Every player's 8-ball number (2–7, new players start at 4). It moves only on league results: a win adds points, a loss takes them away, more for an upset; three points move it one level. New players take double steps for their first five results. Every move is logged for the player to read — tap a name to see why their number moved. A flag means repeated wins against players two or more levels up: a signal for you, never an automatic bump. Freeze the numbers for playoffs from the Schedule tab.
Your spreadsheet backup: the schedule, every single's result, the table and the handicap log.
Ranked by points: 2 for a match win, 1 for a tie. Ties are broken by match wins, then singles difference, then singles won, then team name. Standings are public unless you make the league private below.
One link, no sign-in: the standings, the schedule with the bar for every night, each team's roster, player stats and every player's handicap history in plain language. League stats are public unless you switch this off. The same link is on the bar TVs as a QR code under the standings.
They get an invite and see it when they sign in to this page with that email. They become an organizer only if they accept.

Captains: your team's match nights are listed under your team. Use Scoresheet to enter the night's singles when players are not using the app, or to confirm or dispute the sheet the other captain sent.
